主讲人简介:Tang Wenwu is holding a Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa and was a Post-doc and Research Scientist at the U.S. National Center for Supercomputing Applications and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include cyberinfrastructure and high-performance geocomputation, agent-based modeling, and land change modeling. Tang has over 64 peer-reviewed publications, including 43 journal articles (e.g., International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Annals of the American Association of Geographers, Computers, Environment, and Urban Systems), 9 book chapters, and 12 conference proceedings. He has received about $1.5 million grants from alternative funding agencies, including USDA Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife, Center for Disease and Control Prevention (CDC). Wenwu is a reviewer for over 110 manuscripts over 31 journals. He is also the Chair for the AAG Cyberinfrastructure Specialty Group for 2017-2018.
